About the role
Keysight Technologies is seeking an Application Engineer to engage with channel teams and customers to support the power and general-purpose products portfolio. In this presales technical role, you will create application content, analyze test requirements, and support digital demand generation initiatives.
What you'll do
- Develop technical presentations, application notes, webinars, example code, and product demonstrations.
- Deliver technical presentations and training to customers, sales engineers, and internal teams.
- Provide technical guidance on product capabilities, specifications, and performance tradeoffs.
- Troubleshoot instrument, measurement, and software issues.
- Work with customers and field teams to evaluate test requirements and recommend appropriate instruments, configurations, and measurement methods.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline with 5+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.
- Familiarity with power products and general-purpose measurement products (DC Power Supply, AC Source, Electronic Load, DMM, Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generation, Data Acquisition System).
- Experience creating application notes, technical demonstrations, training materials, or customer presentations.
