About the role
This role supports the PLM Director in managing the P&L and overall financial performance of the Photonic Device business unit. You will focus on high-power CW DFB laser chips, chip-on-carriers (CoCs), and high-speed photodetector (PD) products.
What you'll do
- Support the PLM Director in managing P&L and overall financial performance.
- Track revenue and gross margin for the business.
- Assist with annual budgeting and 5-year planning.
- Partner with sales and product marketing teams worldwide to track design-in opportunities.
- Review customer requirements and develop winning proposals with the PLM Director.
- Maintain product part numbers and datasheets, and manage Product Change Notification (PCN).
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.
- Familiarity with core business concepts including P&L, gross margin, cost and pricing, business case development, and CapEx budgeting.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural, global team environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with data analysis and AI tools.
