About the role
Within the Automotive Electrification Business Unit, this role involves the design and development of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for battery monitoring ICs used in electric vehicles and energy storage applications.
What you'll do
- Design and develop analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks for battery monitoring ICs, including references, power converters, LDOs, ADCs, DACs, oscillators, and bias circuits.
- Perform transistor-level circuit design, simulation, and analysis using Cadence Spectre or equivalent tools.
- Apply semiconductor device physics and CMOS/BiCMOS fundamentals to circuit design and performance evaluation across process, voltage, and temperature conditions.
- Contribute to mixed-signal integration activities, including signal integrity considerations and related integration challenges.
- Support lab-based silicon validation and debug of analog and mixed-signal circuits.
- Collaborate with design, validation, systems, product engineering, test, and functional safety teams.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, or a closely related field.
- Relevant coursework in Analog Circuit Design, CMOS / IC Design, Mixed-Signal Circuit Design, or Semiconductor Devices.
- Coursework in VLSI Design, Data Converters, Control Systems, or Power Electronics.
Nice to have
- Relevant industry experience.
- Exposure to Battery Systems or Automotive Electronics.
- Familiarity with AI tools.
