About the role
This role involves technical leadership and guidance on product offerings to increase sales opportunities and customer adoption within the aerospace and defense sector.
What you'll do
- Coordinate and execute technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on Ansys product offerings to increase sales and customer adoption.
- Understand customer system-level engineering requirements and analyze solutions using Ansys DME products (STK, ODTK, etc.).
- Develop and implement holistic system-level solutions using model-based systems engineering, digital mission engineering, and core physics analysis.
- Design and develop programming user interfaces, automation scripts, and integration code to support customer applications.
- Contribute to field and digital marketing efforts, author conference presentations, and support business development initiatives.
What you'll need
- BS or MS in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment.
- Hands-on experience with Ansys software or other engineering tools (mission simulation (STK, ODTK), MSBE, optimization, CAD).
- Programming proficiency in one or more languages (C, C++, C#, Java, MATLAB, Python, or scripting languages).
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations and training sessions.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 25% and possess DoD TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
