About the role
This role involves developing current and future CMOS technologies for advanced memory products. You will contribute to establishing robust CMOS devices and process flows for high-volume manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Support the development and optimization of advanced CMOS devices and process integration flows.
- Execute engineering experiments and collect silicon data.
- Analyze device and process data to identify trends, correlations, and improvement opportunities.
- Support improvements in transistor performance, process margin, reliability, yield, and manufacturing cost.
- Assist with transistor model validation and investigate discrepancies between silicon data, simulation results, and model predictions.
- Develop scripts, dashboards, and automated workflows for engineering data analysis.
What you'll need
- Basic understanding of semiconductor devices and standard CMOS transistor operation.
- Fundamental knowledge of MOSFET device physics, including threshold voltage, drive current, leakage current, short-channel effects, and capacitance.
- Basic understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
Nice to have
- Internship, research, or project experience related to CMOS devices, DRAM, logic devices, semiconductor processing, or electrical characterization.
- Experience with experimental design, statistical data analysis, or semiconductor parametric testing.
- Familiarity with FinFET, Nanosheet, Gate-All-Around, or advanced CMOS technologies.
- Basic programming or scripting experience.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding, analytics, or documentation tools in a responsible manner.
- Experience presenting technical results to engineering teams.
