About the role
This role is for an Undergrad Hardware Engineering intern/co-op to help improve experiences of AMD’s discrete and embedded hardware products.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with Engineers on discrete and embedded hardware products.
- Build applications for external and internal use.
- Develop large scale systems to improve the efficiency of the AMD Hardware organization.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a US-based university in an undergraduate Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related program.
- Knowledge or experience with C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Ruby, Chrome OS, or MATLAB.
- Knowledge or experience with ASIC design and verification.
- Knowledge or experience with ML and AI.
- Knowledge or experience with System/Board design, circuit board layout, signal integrity, or power design.
- Knowledge or experience with Hardware automation, validation, and test.
- Knowledge or experience with UNIX and JTAG tools.
- Knowledge or experience with pre-silicon and/or post-silicon platforms.
- Knowledge or experience with Computer architecture, CPU & GPU architecture.
