About the role
This role is for a Hardware Engineering intern/co-op who will work on AMD's discrete and embedded hardware products.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with Engineers on hardware product development.
- Build applications for external and internal use.
- Develop large-scale systems to improve the efficiency of AMD Hardware organization.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a US-based university in a Master’s program majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge/experience with C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Ruby, Chrome OS, MATLAB.
- Knowledge/experience with ASIC design and verification.
- Knowledge/experience with ML and AI.
- Knowledge/experience with System/Board design, circuit board layout, signal integrity, power design.
- Knowledge/experience with Hardware automation, validation and test.
- Knowledge/experience with UNIX and JTAG tools.
- Knowledge/experience with Pre-silicon and/or post-silicon platforms.
- Knowledge/experience with Computer architecture, CPU & GPU architecture.
