About the role
This role focuses on electrical characterization, yield analysis, and production lot disposition to enhance product and line yield and support manufacturing operations. This position supports 200mm and 300mm wafer fabs.
What you'll do
- Monitor electrical performance trends and disposition holds at electrical and sort test.
- Support urgent fab operational issues and investigate scrap.
- Drive yield enhancement by analyzing failing electrical parameters and data mining for root causes.
- Develop and improve yield characterization and data analysis methodologies.
- Support process module engineering through electrical test, inline metrology, and yield analysis.
- Communicate issues clearly to home teams daily.
What you'll need
- B.E./B.Tech with 0-6 years or M.Sc./M.Tech. with 0-5 years of relevant experience in Electrical (Microelectronics)/ Electronics Engineering or Applied Physics.
- Experience in high volume semiconductor/electronics manufacturing in process module/equipment (200mm/300mm).
- Strong working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Structured Problem Solving (SPS) skills, and Failure Mode & Effect Analytical (FMEA) methods.
- Good understanding of semiconductor process technology and devices.
- Organized, proactive, with excellent analytical skills and on-time delivery of work.
Nice to have
- Scripting and coding skills (R and Python).
