This role supports the X-ray fluorescence (XRF) lab product line by translating complex instrument capabilities into customer-focused solutions and developing analytical workflows.
What you'll do
- Develop and deliver customer demonstrations showcasing XRF system capabilities. - Create application notes highlighting real-world use cases and analytical performance. - Design and implement turnkey workflows tailored to customer requirements. - Work with the algorithms team to optimize quantification methods and analytical accuracy. - Collaborate with the software team to provide feedback on user interface and data analysis outputs. - Document workflows and methodologies clearly for internal use and customer adoption.
What you'll need
- Deep understanding of X-ray fluorescence (XRF). - Strong experimental design and data analysis capabilities. - Proficiency in Python for data analysis and workflow development. - Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and deliver solutions under tight timelines. - Willingness to travel occasionally (domestic and international, up to 10%) to support customer demos and training.
Nice to have
- Experience in XRF within semiconductor metrology. - Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) or relevant industry experience.
