About the role
This role involves acting as a key member of an Agile Scrum Team, focusing on the end-to-end lifecycle of Windows-on-Snapdragon product lines.
What you'll do
- Gather requirements, design, and develop key features for Windows on Snapdragon products.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to bring up, support, triage, and unblock issues on Qualcomm chipsets.
- Apply strong software development skills to product development.
- Debug embedded systems on ARM or other SoC architectures.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Embedded Windows software development experience.
- Solid understanding of Operating System concepts.
- Windows and/or Linux kernel development experience.
- Strong understanding of C/C++.
- Shell Scripting or Python skills.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- C/C++ and Python programming experience.
- Device driver programming and debugging with WinDbg, JTAG/other tools.
- Processor architecture and cache subsystem knowledge.
- ARM assembly experience.
- Embedded OS (Kernel architecture, OS services heap, memory, multi-core, multi-threading, and crash debugging) experience.
- Knowledge of OS/system performance profiling and optimization techniques.
- Advanced understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
