About the role
This role involves developing and supporting the manufacturing of 300mm silicon wafers for automotive and consumer applications.
What you'll do
- Own critical Cleans processes and the health of SCREEN, TEL, and LAM equipment.
- Implement equipment and process improvements to increase product performance, reduce cost, and increase throughput and yield.
- Design and document experiments utilizing engineering methodology.
- Resolve complex, time-sensitive technical problems to maintain production or development schedules.
- Provide daily process and product lot disposition support in the Cleans processing area.
- Contribute to the understanding and resolution of equipment-level shifts in tool performance.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 2 years in Cleans Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, or Module Engineering roles.
- Demonstrated leadership of large-scale improvement projects.
- Experience supporting high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environments.
- Deep understanding of Clean processes and Clean equipment.
- Expertise in statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with DOE methodology, Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), Yield analysis, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, and Process qualification methodologies.
- Strong data analytics capabilities.
Nice to have
- Master's Degree or PhD in Engineering or Physical Sciences.
- Experience with SCREEN or TEL single wafer and BATCH platforms.
- Experience supporting automotive, power semiconductor, or image sensor technologies.
