About the role
Process InP semiconductor wafers in a cleanroom and ESD-safe environment across various fabrication toolsets.
What you'll do
- Process InP semiconductor wafers and become certified in process areas including photolithography, wet etch, dry etch (ICP, RIE), thin-film deposition (PECVD), metallization/plating, and lapping/polishing. - Handle chemicals such as acids, solvents, plating solutions, and polishing slurry in compliance with safety protocols. - Follow process flows using travelers and manufacturing execution systems (MES) such as CAMSTAR. - Enter wafer characterization data and WIP location information into the MES, escalating discrepancies when necessary. - Perform wafer characterization using equipment such as CDSEM, AFM, profilometers, and stressometers. - Interact with engineering for process training, execution of non-standard work instructions, and provide hands-on training to coworkers.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or Equivalent. - Experience with semi-automated and automated processing tools. - Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word. - Ability to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift in an on-site cleanroom environment. - Willingness to work overtime and participate/certify in the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
Nice to have
- At least 2 years of working experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment. - Wafer handling experience.
