Support a high-tech production process on the shopfloor for EUV Manufacturing and Installs.
About the role
This role involves supporting a high-tech production process on the shopfloor, containing and solving complex issues, and improving quality, cycle time, and efficiency. The position focuses on Continuous Improvement within ASML’s EUV Manufacturing and Installs.
What you'll do
- Own shopfloor issues via Daily Follow Up (DFU) process to restore flow with robust containments and structural solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement by optimizing work instructions, sequences, and tooling, reducing DN/MN recurrence, and contributing to EF improvement projects using Lean/Agile methodologies.
- Review design and procedure changes for manufacturability, safeguard process readiness, and feed upstream quality issues to D&E via Disturbance Review Board.
- Contribute to deliverable readiness and safeguard quality KD transfer from NPI towards Volume manufacturing.
- Champion first-time-right execution, support MRB/traceability processes, and uphold ESD/Contamination/Safety standards in a cleanroom environment.
- Collaborate in competence chapters with First Line Support (FLS), Troubleshoot (TS), and New Product Introduction PE to tackle in-depth competence-related challenges.
What you'll need
- BSc/MSc in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineer, Physics, or similar engineering field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in high-tech manufacturing, (opto-)mechatronics, or complex system assembly/test.
- Structured problem solving (e.g., 5xWhy, Fishbone, 8D) and data-driven decision making.
- Continuous improvement (Lean/Agile habits, standardization, waste reduction).
- Manufacturability and process engineering (procedures, sequences, routings, SPC/CT/FPY/ISR basics).
- Stakeholder collaboration across Manufacturing, FLS/TS, D&E, and Supply Chain with clear shopfloor communication.
Nice to have
- Exposure to cleanroom production.
- 3+ years ASML relevant shopfloor experience.
