About the role
This role involves the research, development, and verification of video systems and hardware, focusing on video codec and computer vision hardware.
What you'll do
- Assist in the research and development of video codec and computer vision HW.
- Design, develop, implement, and verify video systems and HW/FW tasks, including Video Encoder, Video Decoder, Computer Vision, Video Quality, and Features.
- Perform architecture, standard study, algorithm, and feature decomposition for hardware development.
- Assist in ensuring KPIs, system performance, and area and power metrics are met.
- Triage problems to determine root causes and provide recommendations for fixes and improvements.
- Contribute to a specific video subsystem and develop basic features and components in line with product proposals or roadmaps.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1 year of applicable video HW and/or Systems experience.
- 1 year of experience with hardware system design, system integration, schematic capture, and circuit simulation software.
- 1 year of experience with programming (e.g., C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems.
- 1 year of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
