About the role
This role involves leading a team responsible for the hardware, software, and automation development for chip validation correlation and characterization.
What you'll do
- Lead a team developing hardware, software, and automation for chip validation correlation and characterization.
- Drive decisions on test strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Own execution of test plans to ensure complete coverage and traceability of feature/system requirements.
- Participate in developing methodologies for chip test and validation from requirements through tape-out.
- Contribute to the continuous development of Tools, Technology, and Flows.
- Develop training and documentation to support the team and product development.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's/master's degree in electrical engineering with experience in silicon test and characterization projects.
- Experience leading engineers or technical projects.
- Strong debug skills and aptitude to resolve complex issues.
- Experience in Characterization, Failure Analysis, Test Development, Statistical analysis, and Customer Support.
- Mixed Signal background with experience in audio and power analysis.
Nice to have
- Mixed-Signal Design & Development experience.
- Experience validating advanced technology, test chips, or early-stage IP.
- Strong background in circuit design, including analog signal chains, power electronics, and audio signal processing.
- Experience in custom test platform development.
- Ability to develop automated test framework and regression test suites in Python or equivalent.
- Experience with supporting hardware (FPGA, DSP, ARM, 8051, JTAG, Scopes, debuggers) and software (Python, C, Assembly, scripts) collateral.
