About the role
The TPS Engineer is responsible for all technical support related aspects at a specific customer, including escalations, fleet performance, system installations, improvement programs, and upgrades. The role serves as an intermediary and field escalation focal point between customer teams and the Division.
What you'll do
- Act as field escalation focal point between customer and Division, providing technical support and documentation to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging equipment. - Provide Alpha Site support to Engineering and Beta Site support on customer tools for the installation, operation, calibration, service, and testing of new hardware, software, or process designs. - Initiate and review ECOs to ensure data supports fixes, and follow up with technical communication to the field. - Generate and present system performance data and metrics including MTBF, MTBI, Availability, process data, and I/W spending analysis. - Support GPS in creating documentation such as CENs, BKMs, technical improvement records, system upgrade guides, and support plans.
What you'll need
- Conceptual and practical expertise in equipment technical support, field service, or equipment engineering disciplines. - Demonstrated experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex semiconductor equipment. - Experience tracking and analyzing equipment reliability and performance metrics including MTBF, MTBI, and Availability. - Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
