About the role
As a Tool Equipment Install Technician, you will be an individual contributor reporting to the Tool Install Manager, focusing on Process Tools Install, Infrastructure, and Progressive Build within semiconductor manufacturing factories.
What you'll do
- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to ensure structures and systems are built to specifications.
- Perform accurate measurements and calculations to avoid rework.
- Operate a wide range of tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Select appropriate materials based on their properties for durability and compliance.
- Devise solutions to unexpected challenges to keep projects on track.
- Manage multiple projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Manage suppliers and contractors to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Apply Lean principles for efficient and safe construction through commissioning operations.
What you'll need
- Associate's Degree related to semiconductor manufacturing (electronics, electronic engineering technology, engineering or other related technical field of study) OR 2+ years technical experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process tool install, equipment maintenance or military technical experience.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or another related technical field.
