About the role
As a Module Tool Installation Engineer, you will ensure the installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment in fabrication facilities. This role involves translating process requirements into detailed installation specifications and validating equipment performance against critical metrics.
What you'll do
- Own and manage module tool installation projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Oversee equipment hookups, including gas, chemical, and electrical connections.
- Validate equipment performance to meet critical dimension and defectivity targets.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal module engineering teams to implement equipment configuration changes and optimize process nodes.
- Coordinate contractors, trades, and vendors to meet fabrication ramp schedules and operational milestones.
- Maintain comprehensive installation documentation, as-built records, and environmental health and safety compliance.
- Execute early troubleshooting, analyze data, and conduct controlled experiments to prevent process excursions and optimize tool performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives during fabrication ramp to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field with 0-1 years of hands-on experience OR Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or Project Management or equivalent installation, qualification, demonstration, or maintenance technician experience.
