About the role
This role is for an Equipment Engineer in Thin Films supporting manufacturing operations at DM5.
What you'll do
- Evaluate, select, and order equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products. - Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. - Track equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues while evaluating equipment performance and reliability. - Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and addressing equipment issues affecting the manufacturing process. - Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations, and write preventative maintenance schedules.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering degree. - 3+ years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer in Thin Films.
Nice to have
- Equipment experience with AMAT PVD and/or AMAT TxZ chambers. - Prior experience with PVD, CVD, high vacuum, and/or ultra high vacuum. - Equipment experience on other equipment (e.g., AMAT, Veeco, TEL, Novellus, and/or ASM). - Experience on tool monitoring and interdiction software, equipment maintenance, and documentation. - Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, SPC techniques, and semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors.
