About the role
This role involves sustaining and improving wafer fab equipment for existing and new processes within Broadcom's Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD).
What you'll do
- Sustain and improve wafer fabrication equipment in production facilities.
- Develop and apply extensive equipment knowledge and procedures to complete complex assignments.
- Support new and established tool sets and platforms.
- Determine and document or revise methods and procedures for manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure CMMS entries are made for daily maintenance activities and PMs are completed on time.
- Work collaboratively with Equipment Engineering, Production, and Process Engineering to improve and stabilize platforms.
What you'll need
- AA degree in Electronic Technology, or equivalent military training.
- Experience in the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of wafer fabrication equipment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, vacuum technology and related principles and tools.
- Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing and equipment optimization.
- Strong demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
- 0-1 years semiconductor experience or relevant military and/or technical industry experience.
Nice to have
- Experience on relevant manufacturing test equipment.
