About the role
This role involves driving testing for highly integrated multi-rail power management devices, specifically focusing on new DCDC converter products.
What you'll do
- Work with the design team to understand design specifications.
- Generate test plans, create test and characterization programs, and design ATE hardware interface boards.
- Debug characterizing silicon on ATE and correlate results with bench data.
- Analyze silicon results and support failure analysis tasks.
- Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debug and fix yield issues, and optimize test time.
- Work with the production team to release products to volume production.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electrical Systems or related Engineering degree.
- 3+ years of relevant Test Engineering experience.
- ATE development experience on ETS364 and ETS800 platforms.
- Characterization test program and hardware development experience.
- Production test program and hardware development experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of electronic devices and circuits, and Analog test techniques.
- Experienced with various lab equipment such as scopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, loads.
- Experience with product engineering activities such as yield improvement and test time reduction.
- Strong understanding of the IC product development process, from concept to volume production.
Nice to have
- Experience/Knowledge in developing test systems for power topologies.
- Experienced with test program and hardware offload to TI offshore manufacturing sites.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting in C++, Python, C#.
