About the role

This role is for a Test Engineer participating in an 18-month Operations Rotational Development Program, gaining insights into operational processes across High Volume Manufacturing, New Product Introduction, and Supply Base Management.

What you'll do

  • Participate in rotational assignments across High Volume Manufacturing, New Product Introduction, and Supply Base Management.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Design Engineering, Field Service, and Continuing Hardware Engineering.
  • Prepare and present reports on project outcomes, operational performance, and key metrics.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to build leadership skills.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree in a technical discipline such as Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Knowledge or experience with development and/or production of printed circuit board assemblies or electromechanical system level assemblies.
  • Knowledge of quality management, failure analysis, six-sigma, 8D, and lean methodologies.
  • Experience working with component suppliers and Electronic Manufacturing Service providers.
  • For Electrical Engineering candidates: proficiency in reading printed circuit board electrical schematics, component data sheets, and using PC layout tools such as Cadence Allegro.
  • For Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering candidates: proficiency with tolerance loop analysis, thermal management in electronics, soldering methodologies, and solid modeling tools such as Solidworks.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in measurement techniques and process controls for yield analysis, statistics CP/CPK, and normal distributions.
