Develop ATE hardware and characterization test programs for high-precision DAC and ADC converter products.
About the role
This role drives probe and final test development of mixed-signal circuits including DAC, ADC, Reference, Amplifier, and Multiplexer devices. You will develop ATE hardware interface boards and software to bring converter products from design validation to volume production.
What you'll do
- Generate test plans, develop characterization and production test programs, and design ATE hardware interface boards. - Debug and characterize silicon on ATE, correlating test results with bench data and supporting failure analysis tasks. - Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, troubleshoot yield issues, and execute test time reduction initiatives. - Define and implement test strategies for digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital converter products. - Execute silicon qualification and characterization, including qualification hardware development and comprehensive design validation. - Collaborate with production teams to release products and offload solutions to manufacturing.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience. - ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle 364 or equivalent platforms such as ETS 88, Smart Scale, EXA Scale, iFlex, LTX, or VLCT. - Characterization and production test program development experience alongside test hardware design. - Technical knowledge of electronic devices, circuits, and analog test techniques. - Data analysis skills using Spotfire or equivalent tools based on STDF. - Hands-on experience with lab equipment including scopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, and loads. - Product engineering background in yield improvement, test time reduction, and the IC product development process from concept to volume production.
Nice to have
- Mixed-signal test techniques and experience developing mixed-signal tests on TI roadmap testers. - Experience with test program and hardware offload to offshore manufacturing sites. - Proficiency in programming and scripting in C and C++. - Experience with revision control tools such as Subversion and Git.
