About the role
This role involves validating that semiconductor devices meet rigorous performance and reliability standards within a high-tech assembly and test production facility. You will work with design and production teams to implement test solutions, troubleshoot failures, and optimize test coverage for high-volume manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Execute and monitor production test programs on Automated and Semi Auto Test Equipment to identify manufacturing defects.
- Perform basic hardware and software debugging to isolate the root cause of test failures.
- Analyze test data and performance metrics to identify trends, monitor process stability, and support yield improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the bring-up and qualification of new products by helping to develop and validate test plans, scripts, and hardware interfaces.
- Ensure test systems and fixtures are properly calibrated to maintain accurate data collection.
- Maintain detailed documentation for test procedures, bug tracking, and compliance reports in alignment with industry standards like ISO.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 0–2 years of experience in electronics testing or manufacturing.
- Basic programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, C/C++, or LabVIEW) for test automation.
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and signal generators.
- Understanding of digital logic, CMOS fundamentals, and semiconductor device physics.
