About the role
Extropic is hiring a Test and Automation Engineer to support testing and quality of embedded systems.
What you'll do
- Automate data collection across devices under test. - Take ownership of product areas to ensure system quality and stability. - Handle testing, verification, and diagnostics close to the hardware level.
What you'll need
- Experience automating data collection of devices under test. - Programming experience in Python and/or C++. - Familiarity with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. - Familiarity with embedded Linux systems. - Familiarity with standard hardware protocols including SPI, I2C, USB, PCIe, MIPI, and UART. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- PCB design and layout experience. - Embedded system design experience. - Experience handling and debugging complex integrated systems. - Experience probing and testing integrated circuits.
