About the role
This role is for a Technology Development Engineer Intern focusing on Silicon Photonics, involving process flow setup and data analysis.
What you'll do
- Prepare documents for process flow setup.
- Summarize inline and Test (Electrical and Optical) data.
- Perform analysis of inline and Test (Electrical and Optical) data.
- Fabricate and integrate Silicon Photonics process development.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure device meets specification and verify device's performance.
- Document Inline, Electrical and Optical Test and performance data analysis.
What you'll need
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering (Optical/Electrical/Semiconductor) or related field.
- Available for a 16–24 week credit-bearing internship commencing January 2027.
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
Nice to have
- Prior related internship or co-op experience.
- Demonstrated prior leadership experience.
- Project management skills.
- Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies.
- Strong self-motivation and interest on Silicon Photonics technology.
