About the role
The Technical Support Trainer delivers in-person and remote training and develops computer-based training modules for semiconductor equipment procedures. The role trains internal Field Service Engineers and external customer operators and maintenance personnel on released system procedures.
What you'll do
- Plan, schedule, and deliver training sessions both in person and remotely using documentation, drawings, models, and simulators. - Train internal Field Service Engineers and external customer personnel on safe, accurate performance of released system procedures. - Develop training packages based on defined Learning Objectives covering system overview, subsystems, major assemblies, and software operations. - Convert training materials into Computer Based Training modules with multimedia output and manage delivery and tracking via a Learning Management System. - Assist Technical Writers with system documentation by verifying and validating procedure accuracy and safety. - Collaborate with the product marketing group to understand customer tool requirements and configuration options.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree or degree from a technical university (or equivalent combination of education and experience). - 2 years of experience in the technical support or field service arena. - Technical background in semiconductor or technical manufacturing equipment. - Demonstrated ability to develop training presentations and deliver them to small groups. - Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
