About the role
This role is for a Technical Program Manager - Hardware to develop Atomic Semi's semiconductor fab. You will translate company goals into technical programs and drive execution from concept through integration, building the system that coordinates mechanical, electrical, software, and production teams.
What you'll do
- Manage the development of fab tools and components from requirements definition to production release.
- Drive cross-functional execution across mechanical, electrical, embedded/software, and production to hit spec and schedule.
- Maintain the critical path, surface technical risks early, and define mitigations and alternate routes to keep projects moving.
- Communicate status, decisions, and risks proactively across teams and up to leadership.
- Build lightweight project management systems for planning, communication, and visibility.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience managing complex hardware projects.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on tight engineering timelines and manage trade-offs to deliver new products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with a project management software.
- Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Having performed some type of hardware engineering, such as mechanical or electrical.
- Familiarity or interest in semiconductor technologies and semiconductor specific techniques/tools.
- Experience leading NPI programs and successfully transitioning products from engineering/R&D builds through production ramp.
