About the role
Responsible for all technical support aspects at a specific customer, including escalations, fleet performance, system installations, improvement programs, and upgrades.
What you'll do
- Act as an intermediary and field escalation focal point between the customer and Division, supporting field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging equipment. - Provide Alpha Site support to Engineering for installation, operation, calibration, service, and testing of new hardware, process, or software designs in house or on engineering tools. - Provide Beta Site support for installation, operation, calibration, service, and testing of new hardware, software, or processes on customer tools. - Initiate and review ECOs to ensure data supports fixes, and communicate updates to the field. - Generate and present system performance data and metrics including MTBF, MTBI, Availability, process data, and I/W spending analysis. - Support GPS in creating documentation such as CENs and BKMs, create and review technical improvement documentation and support plans, and ensure field implementation.
What you'll need
- Conceptual and practical expertise in equipment technical product support and field escalation resolution. - Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging semiconductor equipment hardware and software. - Experience with tool installation, calibration, and Alpha/Beta site support. - Ability to track and analyze system reliability metrics including MTBF, MTBI, and Availability. - Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
