About the role
What you'll do
- Provide end-to-end ownership of the quality, coverage, and completeness of Diagnostics software solution.
- Highlight project goals, strategies, risks, and key requirements of Diagnostics, tools, and framework.
- Drive technical requirements to achieve feature coverage and hardware bug capture targets through diagnostic cases.
- Own the SoC system level feature validation methodology and planning, including multi-IP use cases verification and system level power/performance evaluation.
- Lead the resolution of critical technical challenges, including complex issue debugging and triage.
What you'll need
- Significant firmware or software development experience with close interaction with hardware or product engineering teams.
- Excellent understanding of processors based on SoC architecture, including processor, system IO, memory, engine IP, and security block.
- Strong system level debugging and testing skills.
- Strong Linux environment programming knowledge, including device driver, user space programming, and shell scripts.
- Rich knowledge with x86 CPU architecture and programming skills or strong discrete graphics software development.
- Strong mix of large-scale firmware or software development ability and hardware understanding.
Nice to have
- Experience with BIOS, GPU, PCIe, DDR, PMU, RAS firmware development.
- Hands-on experience with SoC emulation and bring up.
- Experience being a technical leader or architect for software programs.
