About the role

This role involves performing technical tasks to support engineering and maintenance activities related to the construction, design, specification, startup, and operation of facility systems or the installation of semiconductor manufacturing tools.

What you'll do

  • Monitor, operate, and maintain assigned building systems, performing troubleshooting and preventive/corrective maintenance.
  • Respond to critical situations, performing rapid assessments and troubleshooting system components.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure system compliance with safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze SCADA trends to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential issues in building systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for system issues, emergencies, and upgrades, coordinating with contractors and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and repairs, recommending process improvements.

What you'll need

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 18 years of age or older
  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work an 8-hour or 12-hour compressed work schedule
  • Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays

Nice to have

  • Semiconductor fab experience and knowledge of cleanroom protocols (gas/chemical delivery, vacuum/abatement, chillers, HVAC, process utilities)
  • Vocational training or certifications (e.g., boiler license)
  • Experience with PLCs, HMI controls, and automated monitoring systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, schematics, and manuals
  • Experience with Hydronics (Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, PCW, HRHW) systems
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Familiarity with AI and ML concepts
  • Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and electronic repair skills
