About the role
This role leads product definition for electromechanical systems in Teradyne semiconductor test solutions. You will identify requirements and develop solutions, collaborating with Product Marketing and Product Development.
What you'll do
- Synthesize requirements from multiple market segments and applications.
- Develop high-level product objectives into discrete, specific product requirements.
- Collaborate directly with customers to solve problems and build understanding.
- Generate innovative concepts for mechanical and electrical solutions.
- Partner with development teams to provide technical guidance, trade-off assessments, and change management.
- Support collaboration with the global supply base to deliver economically viable solutions.
What you'll need
- Minimum B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Strong systems engineering experience, including requirements development and product definition.
- Demonstrated ability to create innovative mechanical and electrical solutions.
- Experience working directly with customers to understand requirements and solve technical issues.
- Strong collaboration skills with global suppliers and cross-functional development teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with semiconductor production and capital equipment used for test.
