About the role
This role involves the definition and design of complex components, modules, and subsystems within semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
What you'll do
- Define and design complex components, modules, and sub systems.
- Contribute to system engineering specification.
- Coordinate with project marketing and management to understand subsystem requirements.
- Lead architecture brainstorming meetings to drive the systems process to a final subsystem architecture.
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis of subsystems.
- Build and qualify prototypes of new designs, or procure and test outsourced subsystems.
- Identify and troubleshoot engineering problems, including serviceability and manufacturability.
- Support System Integration during assembly and final testing of new product designs.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4-7 years of experience.
- Knowledge of design concepts and functional requirements in field of technical expertise.
- Ability to support system engineering projects with a mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms and software design.
- Understanding of underlying system implications.
- Experience performing and coordinating tests against internal and industry-accepted reliability specifications.
