This role completes definition and design of complex components, modules, and subsystems while contributing to system engineering specifications. Projects involve a mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design.
What you'll do
- Define and design complex components, modules, and subsystems to meet market requirement specifications (MRS). - Coordinate with project marketing and management to capture subsystem requirements and lead architecture down-selection. - Conduct detailed engineering analysis of subsystems across design concepts and functional requirements. - Build and qualify prototypes of new designs, or test outsourced subsystems for compliance with detailed specifications. - Support system integration during assembly and final testing of new product designs. - Perform tests against internal and industry reliability specifications, troubleshooting serviceability and manufacturability issues.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree. - 4-7 years of experience. - Experience with system engineering projects involving electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design. - Experience conducting engineering analysis and architectural evaluation of subsystems. - Hands-on experience building, qualifying, and troubleshooting prototypes and integrated systems.
