About the role
This role involves developing and maintaining software specifications and implementing high-quality, scalable, and efficient code. You will provide IT operational support for Process Control Solutions and participate in a 24/7 support rotation for manufacturing solutions.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain detailed software specifications and implement high-quality, scalable, and efficient code using Perl or other scripting languages (e.g., Shell Scripting).
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and system tests.
- Provide IT operational support for Process Control Solutions.
- Participate in a 24/7 support rotation for manufacturing solutions, as required.
- Perform ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of software systems.
- Work in cross-functional global teams and follow DevOps practices and methods.
What you'll need
- Degree in Computer Engineering or a similar field of studies.
- 2+ years of hands-on software development experience in a C# environment.
- Proven track record of successfully planning, designing, and implementing complex systems.
- Proficiency in agile development methods.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of C# and Windows operating systems.
- Experience within the semiconductor industry.
