About the role
This role is responsible for the overall release management of Sign-off Products in the Digital and Sign-off Group at Cadence.
What you'll do
- Lead the planning and track the delivery of product releases through various stages. - Facilitate the definition of release scope, goals, and deliverables. - Work across functional groups—including R&D developers, Product Validation, Configuration Management, and Product Engineering—to achieve target milestones. - Monitor and report on the progress of product releases to all stakeholders. - Develop and streamline processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and ability to meet targets while identifying and removing bottlenecks. - Monitor product quality metrics and track key quality indicators.
What you'll need
- BS degree in Engineering or Science. - 8+ years of program management experience. - Proficiency in program management and project management techniques, tools, and software. - Background in software development and validation processes. - Demonstrated experience in cross-group coordination, strategic planning, and risk/change management to achieve target timelines.
Nice to have
- MS degree in Engineering or Science. - 10-15 years of program management experience. - EDA domain knowledge, including familiarity with tool development, support, and deployment. - Programming skills in Python, C, or C++. - Experience in process development and deployment for software products. - Experience in software quality monitoring and improvement, or using AI tools to build release infrastructure.
