About the role
Manage supply chain quality in a manufacturing organization, ensuring global supply chain readiness to ramp AI systems and services. You will collaborate across operations and engineering teams covering customer, supply chain, and product quality assurance.
What you'll do
- Facilitate APQP activities such as risk assessment, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and control plan development to identify and mitigate quality risks. - Create and maintain quality plans, ensuring conformance to customer specifications and internal standards. - Ensure suppliers fulfil NPI requirements to secure production readiness. - Collect and analyse key production metrics such as cycle time and yield to support process and quality improvements. - Develop standard operating procedures to improve operator efficiency and process consistency, and support training of production personnel. - Participate in Kaizen events to measure, document, and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
What you'll need
- Expertise in APQP activities, FMEAs, SPC, control plans, ISO Audit, and related quality tools. - Experience facilitating engineering and management teams through structured root cause analysis (8D, 5-why). - Ability to work across several organisations with engineering leaders and factory operatives. - Track record of representing the Voice of the Customer within the supplier chain.
