About the role
This role involves supporting Intel's Supply Chain within the Global Logistics (GLO) Organization as a Data Scientist.
What you'll do
- Develop advanced analytics and AI solutions for Logistics Cross Border Optimization COE.
- Conduct tariff assessment focusing on pre-entry and post-entry reviews.
- Analyze customs data and HTS data to derive actionable insights.
- Create Tariff forecasts and perform monthly spending reconciliation.
- Identify improvements based on business processes and supply chain dependencies.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science / Machine Learning, or Supply Chain Management.
- 1-2 years of supply chain background in transportation and/or warehousing.
- Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Access, Python, and Power BI.
- Proficiency with predictive modeling, statistics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and other data analysis techniques.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Perl), Advanced Analytics, HANA, and HADOOP.
