About the role
This role is responsible for addressing supplier-related quality events within Solidigm's Validation, Quality, and Reliability organization. You will be the primary contact between Solidigm, its operations, and suppliers, ensuring specifications and quality requirements are met for purchased products.
What you'll do
- Serve as the key contact between operations, suppliers, and customers regarding quality and regulatory requirements.
- Define and execute supplier audits and surveys to ensure compliance with business requirements and quality standards.
- Monitor, report, and support supplier quality metrics, performance, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.
- Support Solidigm factories with incoming inspection and problem part resolution across all operational phases.
- Support alternative supplier selection and participate in customer-facing supplier quality activities.
- Initiate and follow up on supplier Failure Analysis requests.
What you'll need
- BS degree in engineering or a related field + 4 years of experience in the semiconductor or relevant industry.
- Demonstrated skills in using system-based problem solving.
- Familiarity with component/PCB manufacturing flow.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
Nice to have
- Solid understanding of semiconductor device reliability mechanisms, including Electromigration (EM), Time-Dependent Dielectric Breakdown (TDDB), Bias Temperature Instability (NBTI/PBTI), Hot Carrier Injection (HCI), Stress-Induced Voiding (SIV), Junction degradation, and latch-up.
- Knowledge of silicon reliability modeling methodologies and lifetime prediction techniques.
- Experience with Weibull analysis, Lognormal analysis, lifetime plotting, and statistical interpretation of reliability data.
- Familiarity with industry-standard reliability models such as Arrhenius, Eyring, Power-Law, and Coffin-Manson.
- Understanding of JEDEC qualification requirements and semiconductor failure analysis practices.
