About the role
As a Supplier Quality Engineer at MKS, you will partner with the Global Supply Chain organization to execute supplier quality management and development activities within the supply base.
What you'll do
- Execute supplier quality activities for purchased products including approval, qualification, nonconformance management, and corrective actions.
- Act as a liaison between Engineering and suppliers to ensure conformance of purchased products to MKS specifications.
- Lead supplier quality activities for assigned Business Units.
- Manage supplier corrective actions and key process improvements.
What you'll need
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field or engineering.
- Minimum 2+ years of related experience in quality, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong Project management skills.
- Demonstrated use of Quality tools: FMEA, SPC, GR&R, CAPA/RCA, process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ), and auditing.
Nice to have
- Direct manufacturing experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or PCBA.
- Practical experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- ISO lead auditor certification or ASQ CQA.
