About the role
This role is responsible for the overall success of Probes Test and Assembly operations, focusing on safety, delivery, quality, and throughput.
What you'll do
- Serve as the night shift safety champion and Emergency Response Team (ERT) member.
- Ensure quality execution and adherence to work instructions, temporary change orders, and discrepant material processes.
- Monitor WIP, dispatch resources, balance the line, and adjust staffing and priorities.
- Directly supervise hourly employees, including work assignment and timekeeping compliance.
- Lead daily shift huddles focused on safety, staffing, priorities, and output goals.
- Provide timely feedback, coaching, and recognition to employees.
What you'll need
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Ability to work in a microelectronic precision manufacturing cleanroom environment.
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation and work extended hours.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
- Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a management or leadership role with direct reports.
- Experience with SQL and/or Access databases.
- Experience with metrics and tracking on-time delivery and performance analysis.
- Strong knowledge of ERP and MRP systems.
- Experience with QAD.
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
