About the role
This role involves supervising operations for assembly, vacuum processing, and wet etch operations for the manufacture and assembly of echucks and other coated products.
What you'll do
- Supervise and lead a team of technicians in the Echucks and Coatings departments.
- Lead shifts to maintain a safe work environment, meet key quality metrics (scrap, first pass yield), and meet delivery metrics (schedule adherence, shift output, OEE).
- Champion safety by following best practices, wearing appropriate PPE, and leading cross-functional safety investigations.
- Lead investigations into quality issues on the production floor and drive cross-functional teams to resolve them, including leading 8D analyses.
- Implement 6S initiatives and GEMBA walks, and facilitate the daily Tier meeting program.
- Collaborate with production planners to ensure schedule adherence and utilize SAP for material movement and Camline systems for SPC.
- Build and develop a high-performing team by providing career development, feedback, mentoring, and structured training plans.
- Work effectively in a cleanroom environment and provide feedback to Engineering and R&D for continuous improvement.
What you'll need

- Ability to work with chemicals and in a clean room environment.
- Ability to be on call as needed when technicians are working overtime.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree.
- 5-10 years of experience as a supervisor in a highly demanding environment.
Nice to have
- SAP background or similar ERP system background for production planning.
