About the role
This role involves coordinating the management and spend of AMD’s strategic foundry suppliers, with a specific focus on post-fab and advanced packaging services. The position reports to the Director Foundry Procurement.
What you'll do
- Coordinate the management and spend of AMD’s strategic foundry suppliers with specific focus on post fab / advanced packaging services.
- Develop the global procurement strategy for foundry with specific focus on post fab and advanced packaging.
- Lead Supplier Performance Management (SPM) and be responsible for the quarterly scorecard process.
- Develop and communicate a foundry post fab / advanced packaging commodity strategy to AMD Senior Management Team.
- Collaborate and formalize foundry post fab / advanced packaging market research and benchmarking processes.
- Own the overall driven bidding process including analysis, price negotiation, and driving business awards.
What you'll need
- BS/BA degree
- Strong negotiation and sourcing skills
- Familiarity with Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Experience working in an engineering or semiconductor company
- Understanding of regional and global markets and cultures
Nice to have
- Extensive foundry or semiconductor experience specific to post fab and advanced packaging service offerings
- Strong engineering background
- MBA
