About the role
This internship focuses on Functional Safety, including safety analysis (FMEDA) and contributing to the development of Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMIC) and High Voltage Gate Drivers for Electrified Vehicles, adhering to ISO 26262 ASIL D solutions.
What you'll do
- Perform Quantitative Safety Analysis using ANSYS Medini on Integrated Circuits for Electrified Vehicles.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to support Safety metrics evaluation for Customer use cases, including Variant management and customization of safety-related modules.
- Generate and export safety analysis and metrics documentation for Customer dedicated use cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Definition, Architects, Verification) to ensure alignment with safety standards and project requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in safety analysis workflows and tool usage.
- Support for Customer safety enablement.
What you'll need
- Bac+5 (Master's degree) in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Functional Safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
- Familiarity with ANSYS Medini and/or scripting languages (e.g., Python), and PMIC architecture.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
