Develop heterogeneous software for computer vision, image, and video processing as part of the AMD Radeon Open Ecosystem (ROCm). You will focus on quality engineering, integration testing, and software validation across the stack for ROCm releases.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and optimize GPU/CPU software for computer vision, image, and video processing workloads. - Validate new software features before releasing them to customers. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract performance from AMD hardware. - Debug and resolve complex software issues across multiple layers of the stack using software engineering methodologies and AI tools. - Implement unit and integration testing in C++ using GoogleTest (gtest). - Automate test execution and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. - Deep domain expertise in computer vision combined with experience in quality engineering and integration testing. - Strong experience with GoogleTest (gtest) for unit and integration testing in C++. - Hands-on experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions for automating test execution and CI/CD pipeline integration. - In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, frameworks, and automated testing tools.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python. - Experience in video codecs, image processing, and machine learning frameworks. - Familiarity with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV, FFmpeg, and OpenVX. - Experience with GPU programming (e.g., HIP, CUDA). - Familiarity with ROCm or similar heterogeneous computing platforms. - Experience with open-source development, Git, and issue tracking tools like Jira. - Experience in computer vision domain Quality Engineering for testing and debugging end-to-end workflows.
