What you'll do
- Develop RF/Microwave/Millimeter-wave GaAs and GaN LNA/Driver Amplifier/Power Amplifier MMICs.
- Conduct MMIC design and layout.
- Perform electro-magnetic simulation and thermal analysis.
- Utilize industry standard EDA tools for design.
- Conduct RF/microwave testing and measurements.
What you'll need
- 7+ years of experience in RF/microwave engineering (MSEE/PhD in EE).
- Experience with GaAs and/or GaN semiconductor technologies.
- Experience with MMIC design and layout.
- Experience with electro-magnetic simulation.
- Experience with thermal analysis.
- Proficiency with EDA tools: ADS, Momentum, RFPro, Sonnet, Cadence, AWR, Ansys HFSS.
- Knowledge of GaAs and/or GaN device physics and modeling.
- Microwave/millimeter-wave circuit/system design experience.
- Proficiency with RF/microwave test equipment and measurement techniques (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters).
Nice to have
- Knowledge of PA linearization and efficiency enhancement.
