About the role
This Staff Qualification Engineer role supports KIOXIA Enterprise SSD qualifications for OEM Global Accounts.
What you'll do
- Develop a deep understanding of customer qualification processes and systems.
- Collaborate on allocating lab and test resources for qualification milestones.
- Build and maintain action item lists during the qualification process.
- Assist in authoring and editing technical documents for OEM Customers.
- Track status and monitor Failure Analysis activity to closure.
- Support Joint Qualification testing activities in the Product Test and Qualification Engineering lab.
What you'll need
- Good working knowledge of Enterprise Windows, Linux Servers, and Storage platforms.
- Familiarity with Enterprise SSD technologies and at least 5 years of experience in the technical industry.
- Working knowledge of SAS/SATA/NVMe Interfaces.
- Well-rounded understanding of AI storage, server/storage architecture, operating systems, and RAID file systems.
- B.S. Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- Experience using SAS/SATA/NVMe Analyzers to debug interface related issues.
