About the role

As a Staff Product and Test Engineer in the New Product Development team at onsemi, you will support product lines and business P&Ls by defining Analog and Digital DfT strategies and developing test solutions for complex Analog, Mixed Signal, and Digital roadmap products on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms.

What you'll do

- Own pre-silicon activities including ATE Test Plan generation, hardware design, and test program development. - Drive DfT strategies, including Analog and Digital BiST solutions, to optimize Cost-of-Test. - Lead post-silicon bring-up, validation, characterization, and qualification activities to meet time-to-market milestones. - Own entitlement goals for product execution, overall product cost (yields, test-times, multi-sites), and product quality. - Define and maintain test program generation utilities and standard test method libraries, updating existing code to improve efficiency and reduce test costs. - Interface with ATE vendors, BU Product Engineering, and Design teams to define test automation requirements, checklists, and low-level automation code.

What you'll need

- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Product / Test engineering within the Analog, Mixed Signal, and Digital space. - Hands-on experience developing low-cost test solutions on ATE platforms and a solid understanding of ATE system architectures (such as ETS800, T2K, or IFlex). - Proficiency in software development and ATE coding languages, including C/C++, Python, and Java. - Knowledge of high-voltage (>1kV) test requirements and care-abouts. - Comprehensive IC test knowledge across digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal, including DfT strategies, test methods, and instrumentation requirements.

Nice to have

- Experience and knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, SerDes, LPDDR, or CSI/DSI.
