About the role
This role involves spearheading and developing a team focused on intrinsic and extrinsic reliability test development and execution for Micron’s HBM products, including DRAM and Interface die, and stacked products. The team will drive extrinsic DPM reduction and lead the intrinsic reliability charter, optimizing Manufacturing Test Flow to meet Quality, Cost, and Cycle Time KPIs.
What you'll do
- Define and develop reliability stress, test flows, and test plans for Product Reliability aspects.
- Collaborate with the Global Quality team to define qualification plans, manage qualification execution, and resolve qualification gating issues.
- Drive DPM reduction for Extrinsic Reliability (Time 0 and Field DPM) and Intrinsic Reliability through Optimized Manufacturing Test Flows and Test Strategy.
- Debug and identify root causes of qual and RMA device issues pertaining to defectivity and intrinsic reliability using electric failure analysis (EFA) and Physical Failure Analysis (PFA).
- Provide recommendations to fab teams for new process conversions to reduce cost and increase yields for HBM products.
- Manage risks associated with DPM process conversions and project prioritization.
What you'll need
- Bachelors/Masters Electrical and Electronics Engineering Degree with 6+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.

How we counted: 57 open Product Engineering (Reliability Engineering) roles from 23 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 23 Sept 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Silicon Validation & Test family row.
