About the role
This Staff Machine Learning Software Engineer leads and performs complex design, implementation, and verification of software to enable functionality for various operating systems running on ARM processors and other embedded hardware.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and verify software using C, C++, or Python for audio, camera, graphics, video, sensors, and wireless functionality.
- Integrate, test, and optimize performance for embedded software subsystems.
- Develop optimized software, such as ML kernels or compilers, to utilize specific hardware features.
- Work closely with hardware teams for joint design and development.
- Optimize ML software frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch for efficient execution on hardware.
- Coordinate dependencies with other teams and assist with verification of deliverables.
What you'll need
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field.
- Three years of experience in a related occupation.
- Experience with C, C++, or Python.
- Experience with ARM processors, DSP processors, or GPU processors.
- Experience with ML kernels.
- Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
